Guided notes
provide a way to support active engagement and opportunities to respond through supported note taking.
When utilizing guided notes, a teacher prepares a note taking document that has some sections of notes already completed, but also includes blank spaces where students fill in key concepts, names, dates, etc.
Providing guided notes supports learners in many ways, but especially helps students who struggle to attend, write notes, and process the content.
