Paraeducators

Training paraeducators/aides is a necessity as we strive to achieve high outcomes for our students who require significant supports. Support should be neither too intrusive and restrictive nor too minimal to assist the student in achieving maximum independence. PENT members have graciously shared some of their training materials for our use.

Deciding whether a student requires the supplementary support of paraeducators can be a complex consideration. Manuals, PowerPoints and helpful documents have been developed by PENT members in leadership positions and are available for you.
